Canvas 24/7 Support Phone Number Changes

The Canvas 24/7 support number for faculty is changing. Previously, students called one toll-free phone number while faculty could call a separate toll-free phone number. The new phone number for all users is now 844-334-0228.

Faculty will still receive priority support when calling this unified number. Now, instead of calling a separate number, you will identify yourself as faculty through a short voice menu prompt. This prompt will move your call into the priority call queue with shorter wait times and a higher level of expert support designed specifically for faculty teaching with Canvas.

Note: Students who identify themselves as faculty may be transferred back to the standard support queue after confirming their identity with a support agent. To avoid this extra delay, please identify yourself correctly when prompted.

Email and text chat options are still available for all users as they were before. These options are excellent alternatives when the phone lines and call queues are extremely busy during the start of the semester.
