Organization Descriptions
- Academic
- Canvas sites for academic departments, study groups, and other academic tasks can be listed as Academic organizations.
- Administrative
- Canvas sites for administrative departments, search committees, event planning groups, and other administrative tasks can be listed as Administrative organizations.
- Athletics
- Canvas sites for official athletic groups that are not considered student organizations may be listed as Athletics organizations. Intermural organizations and athletic clubs must be listed as Student Organizations through the Student Activities office.
- Residential
- Canvas sites for residential groups can be listed as Residential organizations.
- Student Organizations
- Canvas sites for official student organizations that have an active roster with the Student Activities office are not permitted. Any requests for official student organizations should contact the Student Activities office at https://www.baylor.edu/student_activities/organizations/.
- Temporary
- Canvas sites for short-term or temporary purposes can be listed as Temp organizations. In the description, please include the length of time this organization should exist.
