The Office of the Provost announced this year's Readers Meet the Author honorees at the Fall Faculty Meeting. Professors Allison Alford, Candi Cann, Barry Harvey, Ronald Angelo Johnson, and Bruce Longenecker each published single-author works in their field in the past year that will be featured during conversation sessions throughout the academic year. The Readers Meet the Author series, presented by the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost and hosted by the University Libraries, brings faculty, staff, students, members of the Baylor community and others together to engage important ideas through conversation with the authors.

Since 1953, Dr Pepper Hour has been a long-standing tradition of the Student Union. Each week students, faculty and staff to come together and socialize while enjoying a refreshing Dr Pepper float. Dr Pepper Hour is held every Tuesday during the academic year between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room of the BDSC.

During National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and throughout the year, limit the amount of personally identifiable information that you share on social media platforms and websites, and frequently check the privacy settings on platforms you use.

From Friday movie nights to Blacklight Bowling; from live concerts to "coffee and canvas" events, Sundown Sessions at the SUB are university-sponsored events tailored to give BU students fun activities to participate in on campus every Friday and Saturday night during the school year.  Sundown Sessions are free to all students.
