Turnitin E-rater Sunsetting Announcement

Turnitin has been notified by Educational Testing Services (ETS) that they will no longer be supporting their e-rater grammar service in 2025. As a result, Turnitin will be removing e-rater from all of its products as of December 31, 2024.  

In the absence of grammar checking provided via e-rater, we recommend using Turnitin Draft Coach to provide grammar checks for students while drafting in Microsoft Word online.  Baylor's University Writing Center offers information and support for Turnitin Draft Coach.
