Downloading Secondary Videos

The Kaltura player now supports downloading of secondary and tertiary video streams (in places where the download function is already enabled).

Kaltura Video Quizzes

Kaltura Video Quizzes now have ad blocker detection enabled. Some ad blockers interfere with the recording of answers in Video Quizzes, so the quiz will not allow a user to proceed if it detects an ad blocker is enabled.

To proceed with the quiz, users should disable their ad blocker and refresh the page. If the issue persists, try a different browser.

YouTube Kaltura Entries Disabled

Adding YouTube videos to your Kaltura library has been disabled. The migration to a new caption service has resulted in the inability to provide captions for these videos, so it is now recommended to embed YouTube videos directly into Canvas. Any existing videos will not be affected.
