New Custom Links Functionality in Canvas Course Navigation

Previously, if you wanted to add custom links to your Canvas course navigation you were forced to use the Canvas Redirect Tool.  Canvas has now released functionality that allows you to do this directly in Canvas.

To add a custom link to your course's navigation:

1. Navigate to your course in Canvas.
2. Click on Settings in the course navigation.
3. Click on the Navigation tab.
4. Click the "Add a Link" button (you may have to scroll down to see it).
5. Enter the title and URL for your custom link and click Add.
6. Drag the custom link to the desired position in the course navigation.
7. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
